Day 1
4:09 AM
Waking up at 3:30 in the morning should not be your daily routine:). It is exciting knowing that Cambodia is so close at this hour. We are preparing to get our taxi to go to the Dayton International Airport to fly to Atlanta, Georgia. We will meet the rest of the team right before going through security. It has been a long weekend. When your mind is so focused on Cambodia you feel like you've stepped out of civilization and you feel isolated at home. It is not the feeling that I anticipated. Peaches and Sugar, our cats, are pacing because they know that we're about to leave.

10:00 AM
We have arrived in Atlanta, GA now. We are anticipating the flight to Seoul on the 747 flight. It will be 14 hours. I have been reading books in the news stand and pacing the international terminal looking at all the big planes. The food choices are mainly fast food places around. They have one fresh food stand where we had a delicious breakfast of fruit salad and a bagel. We just now say our airplane and it is very big.

5:05 PM - SEOUL, Korea
We have just arrived in Seoul and are exhausted. At the beginning of the flight I was very interested in the interactive screen in front of us. For the first part of the flight I watched the map and was amazed at how fast we were traveling. After a while that got very tiring! As the flight progressed we went across the North Pole and it was magnificent! (Even though we were 35,000 feet in the air). At the end of the flight I was sick of the same food for all of my meals. We are just about to board a 5 hour flight to Phnom Penh.
